Roybridge Hotel and Grey Corrie Lodge Bunkhouse, Holiday Accommodation beside Loch Lochy, Highlands of Scotland

Roy Bridge Hotel & Grey Corrie Lodge

Ideally located for Outdoor Activities in Lochaber

The Roy Bridge Hotel and Grey Corrie Lodge are situated deep in the northwest Highlands of Scotland, some 4 miles north of Spean Bridge and 13 miles from Fort William.  We are located in the shadow of the mighty Grey Corries and part of the Nevis Range, it is ideally suited to those who enjoy outdoor pursuits such as Mountaineering, Hill walking, mountain biking, canoeing, game fishing, and Red Deer stalking.

If those activities sound a bit stressful, you can just enjoy the glorious scenery, take a gentle stroll in the majestic Glen Roy and observe the parallel roads, a geographical, oceanic feature as described by Charles Darwin on his visit to Roy Bridge and more historically, observed by Queen Victoria in 1872 during a change of her horses at this hotel referred to then as The Bridge of Roy Inn. The building was constructed in 1836 by the chief of Clan Mackintosh to provide weary travellers with quality accommodation, good food, fine wines and ales.

Today the Roy Bridge Hotel still provides this valuable service. Many of the original features can still be seen including the Clan Mackintosh coat of arms above the main entrance.
